On Sunday, November 16th, 2014 the first edition of Flemish Food Bash took place at the famous Café d’Anvers (BE).
Nick Bril (The Jane), Vincent Florizoone (Grand Cabaret), Edwin Vinke (De Kromme Watergang**), Alex Verhoeven (Fleur de Sel) and Jan Tournier (Cuchara*) cooked for 1000 chefs and foodies in the sold out Café d'Anvers. This was the closing night of the Flemish Kitchen Rebels1. A party by chefs for chefs and foodies.
For one day, Café d'Anvers in Antwerp was transformed into a culinary mecca with top beats brought by chefs.
Exquisite food by top chefs, 28 beers on tap by De Struise Brouwers, fancy cocktails by famous bartenders, swinging music and even a pinch of functional nudity were highly appreciated by 1000 chefs and foodies, making the Flemish Food Bash a great success.
The first edition received wide press attention such as magazines Culinary Ambiance and Knack, and in the newspaper Het Nieuwsblad.
